“The Inn is so charming and welcoming. We felt at home, particularly in our grand family room and the pub and restaurant. At check in, we had the opportunity to add breakfast and received information about dinner, making everything so seamless. However, let me back up to the amazing short ferry ride that delivered us to the front door of the Inn. Our room included separated spaces for a bed I shared with my spouse, with a wall separating us from the kids. We had great breezes from the window……

“If your preference is for a modern purpose built hotel, then the Morar hotel might not be for you. It does however offer a spectacular building with feature packed rooms downstairs with grand staircases up to the bedrooms, very clean, modern bathroom in the bedroom we had, unbelievable views from many of the bedroom windows and great food. The staff (Nadia, Tuan, Akram and Trenton) were very friendly and helpful. The location, immediately opposite the station was ideal for us on our railway……

“Wonderful hosts whom made us a late request dinner. Rooms were clean and neat and everything was well decorated and functioning. A very nice breakfast as well. A minute to the ferry to Isle of Mull giving plenty of time for a day exploring Duart castle and Tobermorey. Highly recommend!”

“Neal is a very gracious host, very helpful and knowledgeable about the local area and history. Home is clean, comfortable, and quiet, breakfast is excellent. Be aware that some rooms have a shared bathroom depending on which you choose. The gift shop in Spean Bridge is one of the best we saw in Scotland.”

“The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.”
